Grow Our Faith Through Service
On behalf of the board of directors of The Catholic Foundation of Southwestern Indiana Inc., it is my pleasure to welcome you and introduce our newest initiative to serve those who serve others within the Diocese of Evansville.
We appreciate your time and interest in serving others, and it is our intention to become more actionable within that service to assist our brothers and sisters in becoming the hands and feet of Christ.
In 2024, we begin a new initiative which we hope to aide in the efforts to grow our faith through service. In our inaugural year, we will award three grants with a cumulative total of $50,000 to address Catholic community needs within the Diocese of Evansville focused within the following four pillars of our mission: Parish Support, Catholic Education, Social Justice Initiatives, and Vocational Assistance.
Grants will be awarded annually, with our pre-application process beginning February 14th, 2024, and closing April 1st, 2024: awards to be made in the month of August 2024. A brief pre-application form may be submitted electronically for review.
Once your pre-application has been reviewed and deemed to fall within our focus and scope, finalists will be contacted to provide a more comprehensive review of the service or program for funding consideration.
